The Smallest Superhero is another children’s book that was the result of an interchange I had with my son. I think him to be an incredible young man. Some of the issues he and other children routinely face in school was the impetus behind the writing of this book. It’s actually the first in a series, with more to follow. The first installment deals with bullying. The Smallest Superhero has a wonderful motto: “You may not be able to help everybody but you can start by helping somebody!”

Deidra officially started her writing journey in 2011 with her first novel published in 2012. In addition, Deidra is a ghostwriter, and has written for several celebrities and lay people alike. She also does academic writing, editing and consulting.
Deidra continues to be fascinated by the power of the written word. She has always written, and most recently decided to share her craft with the rest of the world.
